The HTMR Network has identified a need for various Working Groups to focus on strategic areas of interest to the Network and its stakeholders. Our Hub members are key participants in our Working Groups, and membership is also open to interested individuals, who are active in trials methodology research.
The Trial Recruitment Working Group is identifying the most effective and efficient strategies for recruitment to trials, with methodology studies inside and outside the Hubs. It facilitates networking and collaborative research across the Hubs to improve trial recruitment, and collaborates with the UKCRC Registered CTU Network to implement, evaluate and use recruitment interventions across clinical trials in the UK and beyond.
If you are involved in conducting or developing research methodology for recruitment of participants to clinical trials, then you may want to consider joining the MRC HTMR Recruitment Working Group.
No. But you should be actively involved in the conduct or development of research methodology for recruitment.
The group aims to meet approximately 4 times per year. Usually by teleconference with face to face meetings scheduled to coincide with other events such as national conferences or workshops.
The working group has three priority subgroups:
